On the 23rd, LORRP hosted the 200' side-by-side arm drop races. 21 trucks entered in three divisions. In the Street Stock class winners in order were Gary Rehms, Morgan Woods, and Spanky Felter. The Stock class winners were Blake Rabalais, Dion Morris, and Mike Freeman. Super Stock was lead by Blake Rabalais, David Parsons, and Lance Beesley.
The next 200' side-by-side arm drop races will be held at the LORRP on June 27th. The gates will open at 2 PM. Registration starts at 3 PM and the racing gets underway at 5PM. Remember it is 100% payback PLUS $500 ADDED MONEY. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Sunday the 24th, the AMRA rolled out their 2nd event of the year after the previous weekend rainout. Despite some heavy overcast and threatening rain most of the day 48 trucks went into action.
Stock had 22 trucks; first place went to Jody Jester (Food Stamp 2); second place went to Dane Neeley (Undecided).
Super Stock had 17 trucks; first place went to Sherie Richardson (Bayou Bandit); second place went to Barry Wood (Screamin' Eagle).
Modified had 5 trucks; first place went to Chris Mitchell (Mudzilla); second place went to Chris Sullivan (Timber Tramp).
Super Modified had 4 trucks; first place went to Stacey Cockrell (Head Hunter); second place went to Beryl Richardson (AK-47).
